Please join us in congratulating Jordan Baggs & MacKenzie Wilcox on winning our annual Savko Awards for Undergraduate Research pertinent to the study of religion. 

Jordan was awarded the undergraduate research grant for $350 to support the sharing of her senior thesis work, "Memoirs, Diplomacy, and Implicit Consequences: Religion in U.S. Foreign Affairs." MacKenzie was awarded a $150 for Best Undergraduate Paper for her work titled, "Religion, Violence, and American Sacrifice." The research from these two blossoming scholars, written as part of their religious studies major research, was selected from among many worthy applicants.
