Vivian Mann (The Jewish Theological Seminary) Master Class, "The Jewish Art of Medieval Spain"
Master Class: The Jewish Art of Medieval Spainwith art historian Vivian Mann,Director, Master’s Program, Jewish Art & Visual Culture Graduate School, Jewish Theological Seminary; and Curator Emerita, Jewish Museum of New York The Melton Center for Jewish Studies will hold a special text and image study session with Vivian Mann, Director of the Master's Program in Jewish Art & Visual Culture Graduate School, Jewish Theological Seminary, and Curator Emerita of the Jewish Museum, New York. Ms. Mann will discuss the 13th-century Hebrew Bible, scroll of Esther, and scroll of Esther case from the collection of Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein which is currently on display at the Columbus Museum of Art. Co-sponsored by the Melton Center for Jewish Studies at OSU and the Columbus Museum of Art.
